About the Opportunity
Our client requires a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a small afternoon shift of unionized production employees in a busy manufacturing environment.
Immediate start. Short-term contract running through October. Ideal for an experienced Production Supervisor or a capable Lead Hand or Team Lead who is between opportunities and looking for an immediate, hands-on temporary leadership role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise and support a team of approximately 5-6 production employees.
- Coordinate daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and support throughout the shift.
- Monitor workflow and resolve production issues to keep operations running efficiently.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Communicate shift performance, staffing, and operational issues with plant leadership.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience leading employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience as a Production Supervisor, Lead Hand, Team Lead, Cell Leader, or Shift Leader.
- Experienced candidates between opportunities or recently affected by a layoff are encouraged to apply and start immediately for this short-term contract.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Union manufacturing experience is considered an asset but is not required.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Afternoon Shift
- 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Compensation
- $26.00 per hour
- Weekly pay through Express Employment Professionals
- Immediate start available
- Short-term contract running through October 2026
