Job Description:
Hamati Roofing Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Roofer with a minimum of 5 years of experience for full-time employment. The ideal candidate is experienced in installing and repairing a variety of roofing systems and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair roofing systems including TPO, modified bitumen, BUR, and shingles
- Perform tear-offs, repairs, and full system installations
- Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet project timelines
- Follow all safety regulations and company quality standards
- Handle materials, tools, and equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with site preparation and clean-up
- Identify issues and communicate with supervisors or foreman
- Ensure all work is completed to specifications and industry standards
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of roofing experience (flat and/or sloped systems)
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential roofing systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
- Physically capable of handling demanding work conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Safety certifications (Working at Heights, WHMIS) are an asset
