Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Summer Lawn & Grounds Maintenance. This seasonal position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining clean, attractive, and safe properties.
Responsibilities
- Mowing lawns using commercial and residential equipment
- Trimming and edging around buildings, sidewalks, and landscaping features
- Weeding garden beds and landscaped areas
- Pruning shrubs and maintaining trees and hedges as required
- Collecting and disposing of grass clippings, leaves, and debris
- Assisting with mulching, planting, and other landscaping tasks
- Operating and maintaining lawn care equipment safely and efficiently
- Performing general property clean-up and grounds maintenance
- Reporting equipment issues or property concerns to supervisors
- Following all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is considered an asset but is not required
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
