About the Role:
Auto list of Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle all general ledger, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and organize financial data for auditors and assist with annual financial statements
- Manage all CRA-related filings, including GST/HST, payroll, and corporate tax compliance
- Support management with financial analysis and budgeting reports
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience (corporate or public accounting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CRA requirements and Canadian accounting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills
