About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Ultrasound Technologist with Musculoskeletal (MSK) expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging, with a strong emphasis on MSK ultrasound, in accordance with CMRITO standards of practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, with a focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
- Produce high-quality, diagnostic images to assist physicians in accurate interpretation and care planning
- Ensure exams are conducted in accordance with CMRITO guidelines, standards of practice, and code of ethics
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures with professionalism and care
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and allied healthcare professionals
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active registration in good standing with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario) — required
- Demonstrated experience in MSK ultrasound — required
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Credentials such as ARDMS (RDMS) or Sonography Canada (CRGS) considered an asset
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound protocols
- Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
