North West Crane is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Technician for our facility.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
- Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical schematics
- Operate forklift and overhead cranes
- Using OEM software to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment
- Ensure cleanliness throughout the shop
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Heavy-Duty Technician is required
- Crane experience is an asset
- CVIP experience is an asset
- Must have valid apprenticeship with Alberta and Industry Training or Journeyman Red Seal/ Interprovincial Certification
- Attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Strong work ethic
- Consistent punctuality and reliability
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally
Safety
- Ensure that site safety measures meet or exceed the parameters set out by the Health and Safety manual
- Promote a positive safety culture with a target for zero incidents
- Attend daily toolbox meeting
