Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Counter Attendant(FCA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers, handle transactions, support kitchen operations while following health and safety standards in a fast-paced food service environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards.
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
- Take orders and process payments using the point of sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, dining area, and equipment.
- Stock and replenish inventory and supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional way.
- Communicate and cooperate with other staff members and managers.
- A valid proserve certificate or willingness to obtain one
Skills:
To be a successful fast food attendant, you should have:
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- Experience in the food service industry is preferred, however will train the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing, cash handling procedures
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food handling practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment, follow instructions, multitask and provide excellent customer service
- Basic mathematical and computer skills for accurate order processing
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changes on as need basis
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and statutory holidays
