- Support the kitchen staff by organizing supplies and ensuring all food handling procedures meet safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas throughout shifts.
- Follow proper food safety protocols during food prep and handling to ensure quality and compliance.
- Help with setting up dining areas or service stations as needed for smooth restaurant operations.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Experience in kitchen environments, including food preparation or dishwashing roles, is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and basic food handling practices.
- Familiarity with hospitality settings such as hotels or catering environments is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably.
