Who You Are
As a Production Assembler, you will perform assembly of parts to create finished components; organize components for shipping; and kit components for future assembly. You are able to read and comprehend assembly drawings and endeavour to complete tasks in allotted time.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform assembly of parts to create finished components
· Organize components for shipping
· Kit components for future assembly
· Maintain high quality standards such as fastener torque and avoiding part damage
· Read and comprehend assembly drawings
· Endeavour to complete tasks in allotted time
· Operate equipment related to assembly including hand tools, measuring equipment, power tools, and shop machinery
· Work in accordance with company procedures as well as health and safety regulations
· Completion of paperwork as required
· Other duties as assigned
What Sets You Apart?
You are an individual that has:
· Good communication skills, written and oral
· Ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team
· Excellent work ethic and safe work attitude
· Strong problem-solving skills and is mechanically inclined
· Physical strength to manipulate components up to 50lbs
· Forklift certification or is willing to obtain one
· A Class 5 driver’s licence
