Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our team. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, food safety, and serving customers in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to company recipes and quality standards
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Take customer orders accurately at the cash register and process transactions efficiently
- Serve food and beverages with a friendly attitude, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, workstations, and equipment
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Follow all food safety guidelines and health regulations at all times
- Assist in meal preparation during busy hours to support team efforts
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food handling, cooking, and food safety practices
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting ingredients or supplies
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and customer service
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
