The Maintenance staff performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Maintenance staff is responsible for general maintenance and repair of facility and parking equipment. This role involves daily custodial tasks, basic maintenance, routine inspections of parking equipment, and provides courteous assistance to guests. The position plays a key role in ensuring the facility meets company standards and delivers a positive customer experience.
The Maintenance staff works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cleanliness as well as safety standards are met at all times.

Ensure general maintenance of the facility by performing basic upkeep tasks such as replacing lighting, assisting with minor equipment repairs, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the property.
- Complete daily custodial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins in garage, restroom, and office areas.
- Maintain the appearance of the garage by ensuring all painted surfaces—including poles, signs, doors, walls, curbs, and gates—are clean, properly maintained, and meet company standards.
- Perform daily checks of parking equipment (including ticket dispensers, gate arms, and related equipment) to ensure proper operation and general appearance; assist with maintenance and repairs as directed by the Facility or Operations Manager.
- Clear debris from entrance and exit ramps and designated areas using shovels, snow blowers, leaf blowers, and other provided equipment.
- Maintain inventory of janitorial and cleaning supplies and place orders as necessary following established procedures.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with guests, assisting with questions, problems, and concerns; escalate issues to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead as needed.
- Immediately report all accidents, incidents, safety concerns, or facility issues to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
- Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates, representing the company in a positive manner.
- Operate company-issued vehicles, including golf carts and other light-duty vehicles, to move safely and efficiently within assigned parking facility location as required

REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Prior experience in custodial, janitorial, or general maintenance work preferred
- Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
- Must be authorized to work in the Canada and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by law
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to lift, push, or pull equipment and materials up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work outdoors for extended periods
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to work in a parking garage or outdoor environment with exposure to weather, vehicle traffic, and noise
- Availability for flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, or holidays as required
