Our client, a leading steel manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Python Steel CNC Operator to join their production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Python CNC machinery, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to produce high-quality steel components while following safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Python Steel CNC machines to cut, drill, and process steel components.
- Set up and adjust CNC equipment according to job requirements and specifications.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production instructions.
- Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and tape measures.
- Load and unload steel materials and ensure proper machine operation.
- Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Maintain production records and follow work instructions.
- Perform routine machine checks and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating Python CNC Steel Processing equipment is required.
- Strong understanding of CNC machine operations and steel fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using measuring tools and performing quality checks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to lift and handle steel materials as required.
Pay: $17.99 per hour
