We are currently looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Food Runner / Food Expo to join our tight-knit kitchen and front-of-house team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love being the "bridge" that ensures our guests get their meals hot, fresh, and exactly how they ordered them, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do (The Role)
As our Food Expo/Runner, you are the final line of defense before our delicious pub classics (like our famous fish & chips or shepherd's pie) hit the table. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Plate Presentation & Quality Control: Inspect every dish coming out of the kitchen to ensure it meets our standards, has the correct sides/garnishes, and matches the guest’s ticket.
- Coordination: Act as the primary communicator between the kitchen line and the serving staff to keep food moving efficiently.
- Table Delivery: Promptly and safely carry food trays to guests' tables, serving them with a friendly smile and confirming they have everything they need.
- Side Duties: Assist with stocking expo station supplies (sauces, cutlery, plates), clearing empty dishes, and helping the team maintain a clean, organized pass area.

- Detail-Oriented: You notice if a dish is missing gravy or if a medium-rare steak is heading to the wrong table.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. We win and lose as a team!
- Flexibility: Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and carry heavy trays of food.
- Experience in a restaurant environment is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate with the right attitude!
