Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to ensure timely and quality service
- Support supervising staff and managing daily kitchen operations
- Help oversee food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining excellent hospitality standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and service areas
- Support training new team members in food safety and service standards
- Contribute to menu planning and presentation under supervision
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and restaurant policies
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments
- Supervising experience or team management skills preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Knowledge of the food industry, hospitality practices, and restaurant operations
