Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight
- Ensure accurate delivery of products.
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation of cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
- Assist with warehouse duties related to freight handling and inventory management when required.
Job Type:
- Independent Contractor (not an employee position)
Compensation:
- $3.00 per completed delivery (drop)
- Drivers can complete multiple deliveries per hour depending on route efficiency
- Estimated earnings: $18–$30+ per hour based on performance and volume
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Background check will be required.
- Experience in freight transportation, or related fields preferred.
- Ability to operate vehicles safely over long distances and in various weather conditions.
- Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for vehicle maintenance needs.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
