Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cutter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various cutting and machining processes, possess mechanical aptitude, and be committed to producing high-quality components. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to precision manufacturing operations in a dynamic environment. While experience in cutting is an asset, it is not necessary.
Duties
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments for quality inspection and verification of parts.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
Requirements
- Ability to handle heavy materials to and from work station and around the shop is a MUST.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to manufacturing tasks.
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and other precision measurement devices effectively.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or machining environments is preferred.
- Good understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation and material handling. We value precision, safety consciousness, and teamwork in our production environment.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.5 per week
