- COMMERCIAL CLEANERS NEEDED FOR FACTORY SETTING/ OFFICE BUILDINGS.
- PAY STARTS AT $20/HOUR AFTER PROBATION PERIOD
- MONDAY (team of 2) 5pm- 9pm
- TUESDAY (team of 3)- 4pm to 10pm
* please note times may fluctuate depending on cleanliness of buildings prior upon arrival
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across the building. This role is essential in providing a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting with proper training, with a flexible and fair work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping, vacuuming and trash removal to ensure cleanliness of assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, offices, kitchens, and common areas following established health standards.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or shortages.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment during cleaning activities.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes to meet operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent cleanliness across all designated spaces.
- Able to bring equipment from office in Hensall Ontario; to and from account as needed (time in car with supplies is paid)
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is an asset but not required- as training is provided
- Reliable transportation/ own vehicle is a must
- Clean background check is a must
