Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Pharmacy Delivery Driver and play a vital role in ensuring courteous delivery of essential medications to our valued patients. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working independently, is comfortable driving , and is committed to ensuring patients receive their medications safely, accurately, and on time. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed medications to patients at their homes or care facilities in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery details, including patient name, address, and required documentation, prior to delivery.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required and follow established delivery procedures.
- Ensure medications are handled, transported, and stored safely and securely at all times, in accordance with pharmacy policies.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any delivery-related issues.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff regarding delivery status, delays, or concerns.
- Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Provide friendly, respectful customer service in the community.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Access to a reliable personal vehicle(required).
- Comfortable driving and working independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Experience
- Previous pharmacy medication delivery preferred.
- Experience in customer service, pharmacy, or healthcare-related environments is an asset.
