Jackson Heating & Cooling is looking for a skilled Licensed Sheet Metal Worker with a minimum G2 Gas Technician Licence to join our growing team.
We specialize in residential and light commercial HVAC installations and service. We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently, and wants to grow with a company that's investing in its future.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Fabricate and install sheet metal ductwork
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, HRVs, gas piping, and ventilation systems
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Perform equipment start-ups and testing
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment as required
- Complete work safely, efficiently, and to code
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Qualifications
- Licensed Sheet Metal Worker (Required)
- G2 Gas Technician Licence minimum (Required)
- Refrigeration experience is an asset but not required
- Strong knowledge of residential HVAC installations
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and layouts
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
