Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled certified Level ll Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient education.
Duties
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, pediatric, and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
- Take digital radiographs (X-rays), utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) Itero technology when applicable
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software TRACKER an assest.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to enhance overall health outcomes
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for daily procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, new grads are welcomed to apply.
- Familiarity with Tracker software is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.

Requirements
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant Level II from an accredited Canadian program
- NDAEB certified
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively using medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and sterilization processes
