We are currently seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused G2 Gas Fitter to join our growing team. This position involves the installation, servicing, and replacement of tanked and tankless water heaters in residential homes.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, physically fit, safety-conscious, and confident communicating directly with homeowners.
Responsibilities
· Install and replace residential tanked and tankless water heaters
· Diagnose and communicate issues related to water heater systems
· Educate homeowners on new installations, system operation, and maintenance
· Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with TSSA regulations and company standards
· Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service on every call
· Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
· Maintain appropriate stock levels of parts in service vehicle
· Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections conducted
Requirements
· Valid G2 Gas Technician License (minimum requirement)
· Clean driver’s abstract and valid driver’s license
· Criminal record check required
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Ability to clearly explain installations and technical issues to homeowners
· Physically fit and capable of moving heavy water tanks
· Must adhere to all TSSA standards and safety procedures
· Must own personal basic hand tools
· Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience installing tanked and tankless water heaters
· Residential HVAC or plumbing experience considered an asset
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
