Half Moon Dentistry is a modern, family focused dental practice in South Surrey. Originally established as a pediatric dental office, we have expanded to provide comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages while continuing to care for our wonderful pediatric families.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and team oriented Licensed Dental Assistant with an Orthodontic Module to join our practice. If you enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults in a positive and supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during general and orthodontic procedures
- Perform orthodontic duties within your scope of practice, including changing archwires, placing and removing ligatures, fitting orthodontic appliances, and taking impressions or digital scans when required
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain infection control standards
- Take dental radiographs and intraoral photographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical supplies
- Deliver exceptional patient care while creating a positive experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Licensed Dental Assistant in British Columbia
- Completion of an approved Orthodontic Module
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, reliable, and organized
- Experience with digital dentistry is an asset
- Experience with Open Dental is an asset, but not required
Schedule
Part time or full time opportunities available. The successful candidate will begin by working Mondays as part of the onboarding process. As you become established within the practice, your schedule will expand to include every other Tuesday and Thursday, with opportunities for additional days as the practice continues to grow.
