B&W Insurance has a new opportunity for a full-time Insurance Broker at its Abbotsford Location.
Opportunity:
B&W is seeking an enthusiastic, confident, sales oriented team player to be part of our growing team. The successful applicant will have a minimum Level 1 license, experience with ICBC Autoplan and a background with Personal Lines processing. Preference will be given to applicants with greater than 2 years of applicable experience, outstanding communication skills and a strong willingness to learn. Applicants must be flexible and willing to work the occasional weekend day (on rotation).
Our offices foster flexible working environments with great teams already in place, however as we continue to grow we are looking for full-time brokers to grow with us and develop long lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
Pay scale is based off level of experience and expertise.

Desired Skills
- Level 2 General Insurance License (preferred)
- 2–5 years of insurance experience
- Strong customer service mindset with a proven ability to support both prospective and existing clients
- Comfortable identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, and asking for the business
- Solid working knowledge of personal lines products, including home, tenant, condo, high-value homes, and COCs
- End-to-end experience managing policies, including new business, remarketing, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
- Confident in reviewing policy wordings and clearly explaining coverage, gaps, and recommendations to clients
- Working knowledge of ICBC products, including Enhanced Care and the online/phone model
- Experience with EPIC systems; familiarity with Autolink is an asset
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Windows and standard office technology
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Additional language skills are an asset
- Collaborative team player with prior office experience
- Professional, polished, and client-focused demeanor
- Flexible and adaptable with scheduling and workload
