Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that support early childhood development
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Support children’s social-emotional growth through guidance, encouragement, and positive reinforcement
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure each child's individual needs are met
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, daily activities, and any incidents or concerns
- Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when necessary
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods and play-based learning
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families and team members
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for early childhood development
- Relevant certifications in caregiving or early childhood education are preferred but not mandatory
