Lions Park Montessori School is a leading provider of Montessori education in beautiful Port Coquitlam. Located steps from Lions Park and the Coquitlam River, our school is surrounded by walking trails and acres of green space that enhance our daily program. Our toddler classrooms are spacious, calm, and beautifully prepared to support the unique developmental needs of children under three.
We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our Montessori toddler program. This is a full-time position for an educator who values respectful caregiving, strong relationships, and high-quality early learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide warm, responsive, and respectful care for toddlers
- Support children’s development through Montessori-aligned infant-toddler practices
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and beautifully prepared environment
- Observe, document, and support each child’s individual development
- Support daily care routines (feeding, diapering, sleeping) with dignity and consistency
- Build positive, professional relationships with families
- Collaborate closely with the classroom team and leadership
- Ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL) and health & safety requirements
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Early Childhood Education Certification – required
- Eligible for or currently receiving BC ECE Wage Enhancement
- Current First Aid
- Clear Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector
- Montessori training or classroom experience is an asset
- Strong understanding of toddler development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $22.00-$24.50 per hour
