- Adapt content for different audiences and platforms
- Proofread and edit content for consistency and clarity
Research & Information Gathering
- Collect background information, statistics, and program updates
- Maintain story tracking documents and interview notes
- Coordinate approvals and consent forms when needed
Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing staff to pair written stories with visual/video content
- Coordinate with program teams to identify strong storytelling opportunities
Deliverables
Weekly Deliverables
- 1–3 written stories/articles
- Interview summaries and quotes
- Draft social captions or newsletter content
- Updated story pipeline tracker
End-of-Term Deliverables
- Collection of published stories/articles
- Organized interview and story archive
- Communications style/resource guide updates
- Recommendations for future storytelling opportunities
Eligibility Requirements
This opportunity is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. To be eligible, you must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada
