We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest service, managing food and beverage orders, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently
- Handle cash and credit card payments with proper cash handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, serving stations, and kitchen spaces
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Provide guest services such as answering questions about menu items and accommodating special requests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, including serving and cashiering roles
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and food industry regulations
- Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
