Iceman Mechanical Inc is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Service Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team in the Regina, SK area! If you are a hands-on, customer service-oriented, and mechanically inclined professional journeyman searching for the opportunity to build a solid foundation for you in a small growing business, this position is for you. The Refrigeration Technician position is located in the Regina area and will report directly to the Service Manager/Owner.
We're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working with a variety of refrigeration/HVAC systems. They must be able to troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise. We work on all types of refrigeration systems, Roof Top Units, geothermals, HVAC, Heating and Natural Gas and Propane applications
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Maintain customers' refrigeration systems.
· Work on RTUs and HVAC systems
· Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fan motors, fans, and expansion valves.
· Perform system checks, system troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery.
· Perform electrical and gas system troubleshooting.
· Maintain records including daily service logs, refrigerant recovery reports, and service records.
· Research and resolve complex system problems.
· Complete assigned paperwork and forms
· Conduct safety inspections, including proper use of personal protective equipment, and verify that safety regulations are followed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Journeyman Refrigeration Technician Ticket.
· Previous experience as a HVAC/Refrigeration technician.
· HVAC certification.
· Braising and soldering skills.
· Knowledge of local building codes.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings and compliance schematics.
· Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
· Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
· Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Valid Clean Class 5 SK Driver's License and abstract
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
· Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor with fellow employees, customers, and stakeholders.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and mobile device applications
· Ability to work independently and competently

Pay: $26.94-$56.61 per hour
