Job Description:
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individual to join our Before & After School Program team. The successful candidate will supervise children in a safe and supportive environment while assisting with bus stops, daily programming, reception, and light facility duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and care for school-aged children in our Before & After School Program.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, and recreational activities.
- Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Assist with school drop-off and pick-up routines.
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and management.
- Assist with light reception duties, including greeting families, answering phones, taking payments, and basic administrative tasks.
- Perform light cleaning duties to help maintain a clean and welcoming facility.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and childcare regulations.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning: 6:45 AM – 9:45 AM (up to 12:45 PM depending on business needs)
- Afternoon: 3:15 PM – 6:15 PM (some or all weekday afternoons based on scheduling needs)
- Additional hours may be available through camps, events, and administrative duties.
- Start Date: Aug 24, 2026
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification (required).
- Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) (required).
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from Kemptville Infinity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to assist with reception and cleaning duties as required.
Compensation:
- $17.60/hour to $20.00/hour, depending on experience.
- Benefits available after 3 months for employees working 30+ hours per week.
- Opportunity for additional hours through covering camps, events, and reception.
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
