Seasonal Campground Maintenance Lead

Renfrew Camping is hiring a **full-time seasonal Maintenance Lead** for the 2026 camping season. We’re looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and motivated who enjoys outdoor work and takes pride in keeping a campground clean, safe, and welcoming for guests.
For candidates interested in staying on-site, an RV lot may be available at a reduced rate.
Position Overview
Working closely with campground management, this role is responsible for the overall upkeep and daily maintenance of the property, equipment, and guest areas. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and experienced in general maintenance, landscaping, and repair work.
What We’re Looking For
* Friendly and professional attitude with strong customer service skills
* Previous experience in campground operations, tourism, landscaping, or property maintenance is an asset
* Knowledge of general repairs including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work
* Comfortable using tractors, lawn equipment, weed trimmers, and other maintenance tools
* Ability to troubleshoot and handle basic repairs independently
* Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean property
* Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
* Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
* Valid driver’s license required
* WHMIS certification considered an asset
* Criminal Record Check required
Main Duties
* Maintain the campground grounds, campsites, buildings, and common areas
* Handle guest maintenance requests quickly and professionally
* Operate and maintain campground equipment including tractors, golf carts, and small engines
* Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, tree maintenance, branch cleanup, and fire pit cleaning
* Assist with upkeep and repairs to rental trailers and campground facilities
* Ensure roads, washrooms, laundry areas, and other shared spaces remain clean and functional
* Monitor the property for safety concerns, maintenance issues, or repairs needing attention
* Assist with campground improvement projects and coordinate with contractors when required
* Support sewer pump-out operations and other seasonal maintenance tasks
* Follow all campground safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Employment Details
* Full-time seasonal position
* Season runs from **May 20 2026 to October 20, 2026**
* Opportunity for returning seasonal employment
* Flexible scheduling required, including weekends and split shifts when necessary
Wage & Perks
* $17-$22 per hour depending on experience
