Positions Available: 1 Full Time Care Services Coordinator
Start Date: ASAP
General Overview:
This is a full-time position with Nurse Next Door Home Care Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client and caregiver schedules, answering phones, working on tasks and communicating with our field staff through Google Chat and our clients by phone or email.
This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Compensation:
- Starting at $21 per hour
Hours:
- Full time - 30-40 hours/wk
- Shifts will be varied either starting at 7:00am or ending at 7:00pm
- Must be available to work on-going weekday shifts
- Must be available to work on holidays (we are open 7 days/wk)
-Flexibility to work weekend shifts twice per month required
- More hours available covering vacation and sick time for teammates
Qualifications:
- MOA designation and experience is an asset
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree preferred
- Excellent communication, both over the phone and in writing
- Detail oriented, enjoys following systems
- Resourceful, tenacious, takes initiative
- Respectful, flexible and people-oriented, thrives in a team environment
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Competent in a technology driven environment, experience with GSuite an asset
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service
- Drivers License and full-time use of a car preferred
Duties:
Scheduling:
- Answering calls from clients and caregivers, and providing support
- Taking calls from potential clients and providing information over the phone
- Maintaining and updating client schedules
- Creating and staffing schedules
- Calling, messaging or emailing staff to offer clients and new schedules
- Responding to last minute & urgent requests from clients
- Answering questions and providing guidance to field staff working with clients
Administrative:
- Managing Excel tracking systems
- Filing and general office organization
- Maintaining employee files, ensuring all certifications are current
- Answering phones
- Other administrative duties as required
