Sorento Custom Homes Ltd. builds high-end custom homes across the Central Alberta area. We're looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to run day-to-day operations on our builds and keep quality, schedule, and budget on track.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Site Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to manage teams, subcontractors, and clients effectively. The Construction Site Superintendent will play a pivotal role in maintaining project schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site activity from foundation to final walkthrough
- Coordinate and schedule trades, suppliers, and inspections
- Enforce strict quality control
- Track project timelines and flag delays before they become problems
- Manage site safety and ensure OH&S compliance
- Communicate daily with the project manager/owner on progress, issues, and change orders
- Keep job sites clean & organized
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Site Superintendent on custom or high-end residential builds
- Deep knowledge of the full build sequence — footings through finishing
- Ability to read blueprints and specs fluently
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license
