Our Ponoka, AB location has a great opportunity for an experienced 3rd or 4th-year apprentice or Journeyperson service technician. This position will be responsible for providing troubleshooting and repairs primarily in the shop but also may have some opportunity for service calls.
What does the role look like?
- As an experienced technician, you are comfortable working independently.
- The role involves diagnosing & troubleshooting equipment and performing any necessary tests to determine required solutions.
- Recommend repairs as necessary to the Foreman, Service Manager or Customer.
- Complete repairs and maintenance of equipment as necessary and as assigned.
- Prepare clear accurate write-ups of work performed in a timely manner.
- Work with Visor Pro AI service tool
- Able to communicate with factory technical support teams as necessary.
- Share information across the organization.
- Ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- The work will be primarily in shop, but some on the road work may be required at times
- As our customers work long hours in the busy season, so we do as well to support them!
What are we looking for?
- 3rd year Apprentice to a Journeyman: Agricultural Equipment or Heavy Duty mechanic.
- Ability to work independently, while troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing agricultural equipment
- Familiarity with Agricultural equipment such as tractors, balers, skid steers, etc.
- Strong computer skills
- At least 2 years of experience as a technician.
- Positive attitude, team player
