We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drum Instructor to join our growing team at our Burlington location. This is an in-person teaching position with the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment while making a lasting impact on students' musical journeys.

Responsibilities
As a Drum Instructor, you will:
- Plan engaging individual lessons and long-term learning plans tailored to each student.
- Teach private and, when required, group lessons ranging from 30 to 60 minutes or longer.
- Incorporate musicianship skills such as rhythm, ear training, music theory, technique, and performance into lessons.
- Develop lesson materials appropriate for students at various stages of musical development.
- Prepare students for examinations, recitals, festivals, auditions, and performances.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate lesson records and student progress reports.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student development and lesson goals.
- Assist with scheduling and student performance opportunities.
- Encourage confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation of music.
- Continue developing your own teaching and performance skills through professional development.
- Stay current with music education resources and technology, including notation and recording software when appropriate.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and administrative staff to provide an exceptional student experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Music, Music Education, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Drums
- Previous teaching experience is an asset
- Experience preparing students for exams, auditions, competitions, or performances is an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Eligible to work in Canada
