Job Description
Scarberian Boxing Club is seeking a dedicated and passionate Volunteer Competitive Boxing Coach to assist with training amateur competitive athletes and supporting them at competitions and interclub sparring events.
This is a volunteer opportunity ideal for someone who is passionate about boxing, athlete development, youth mentorship, and being part of a strong team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching amateur competitive boxers
- Supervise boxing drills, conditioning, sparring, and technical training
- Corner and support athletes during competitions and interclub sparring
- Transport athletes to and from events when needed
- Help maintain discipline, safety, and professionalism in the gym
- Positively mentor youth and young adult athletes
Requirements
- Boxing experience required (competitive or coaching experience preferred)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Passion for working with youth and developing athletes
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
