Overview
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing and professional Front of House Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure smooth restaurant operations, work hard to maintain a clean environment, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement within a vibrant food industry environment.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist daily team leader with seating arrangements to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, including MrsDigi, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Introduce menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage guest inquiries, work with daily team leader to resolve issues promptly, and provide excellent guest services to foster repeat business
- Ensure timely delivery of service by practicing effective time management and multitasking skills
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Ability to speak Mandarin is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management abilities to serve guests efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Prior experience in serving, cashiering, or guest services is advantageous but not mandatory
