Position: Industrial Electrician
Located: Thessalon, ON must be available for overtime, and temporary shift change upon request.
Shift: 06:00 am – 03:30 PM / 03:30 pm – 01:00 am
Schedule will involve some weekend shift work, must be available for overtime, and temporary shift change upon request.
Pay: Competitive wages based on experience
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:
Licenses/Certification:
- 442 industrial electrician’s License (preferred)
Work Location: Will be switching between 2 locations 5 km apart.
Probationary Period: 3 months
Must be open to work on other components to get the production line running.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have - Licensed Industrial Electrician in the Province of Ontario with 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (442 industrial electrician’s License).
- Strong understanding of PLC programming languages, electrical systems, and industrial automation processes.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues with PLC systems.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematic.
- Experienced with electrical automation, loop controls, sensors, etc.
- Can run electrical circuits for various pieces of machinery, including electrical panels.
- Able to create simple ladder diagrams and single circuit diagrams.
- Familiar with the Electrical Code, ESA regulations, and H&S regulations.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Work independently with little to no supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on all electrical and PLC systems, including troubleshooting issues and replacing faulty components.
- Open to work on other components to get the production line running.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
- Follow policies and procedures and work within industry guidelines.
- Abilities to use power tools, hand tools when needed.
- Promptly respond to equipment related issues.
- Other duties as assigned by managers.
