We are searching for a skilled and enthusiastic Licensed Optician to join our growing team of clinical and optical experts. You will play an integral role in helping our patients see their best while delivering a first-class eye care experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work directly with patients to understand their eye care and eyewear needs
- Precisely measure, record, verify, and adjust eyewear to meet both optical standards and patient expectations
- Troubleshoot and resolve fit, prescription, or product issues with expertise and care
- Explain prescription terminology, lens options, and product offerings in an easy-to-understand manner
- Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their prescription, facial features, style, and lifestyle
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain best practices in patient care, sales, and customer service
- Support team development and share knowledge, mentoring junior staff as needed
- Serve as a brand ambassador, educating patients and colleagues and reinforcing our mission and values
Who You Are
- Licensed dispensing optician in good standing, with the skills and authority to professionally dispense eyewear
- Passionate about optical technology, eyewear, and eye care
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated, taking initiative to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Excellent communicator, able to explain technical concepts in plain language
- Adaptable, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Committed to exceeding expectations for patients and teammates alike
- Open-minded, always learning and improving your craft
- Professional, but approachable and fun to work with
Additional Assets
- Leadership or team management experience
- Experience in mentoring or training junior staff
- Ability to speak or understand a second language
- Community involvement, volunteer work, or participation in local organizations
