As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Commercial Tailor to join our skilled production team.
Key Responsibilities
· Construct, alter, and repair garments for commercial orders, including uniforms, suits, coats, and specialty wear
- Follow technical specifications and design patterns accurately
- Ensure consistency, quality, and durability of all finished pieces
- Use industrial sewing machines and hand-finishing techniques
- Collaborate with designers, cutters, and production supervisors to meet deadlines
- Perform fittings and adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow safety procedures
Requirements
· Proven experience as a tailor in a commercial or production setting
- Skilled in garment construction, alterations, and finishing techniques
- Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and garment patterns
- Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure
- Formal training in tailoring or garment technology is a plus
