Overview
We are seeking friendly, outgoing, and dedicated Restaurant Service and Wine Tasting Bar Staff. As a vital part of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Shifts are typically late afternoon/evenings Thursday - Sunday. We offer a flexible schedule where you will work closely with management to ensure we are set up to provide the best service possible.
Duties
- Greet and seat restaurant guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Welcome wine tasting guests to the bar and provide an engaging and personable wine tasting experience.
- Suggest menu items and wines to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
- Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining and wine tasting area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient service flow.
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant and/or winery settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- A passion for, and basic understanding of wine and it's various nuances is certainly advantageous.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
