Job Title: Product & Operations Manager
Location: Brampton, ON (Head Office)
Position Type: Full-time, In-Office
Reports To: Operations Director
About Us
We are a vertically integrated manufacturer, wholesaler, and distributor managing the entire lifecycle of our consumer and wellness-luxury brands—from overseas production to final retail distribution. As we rapidly scale our market presence, optimize our digital ecosystems, and expand our B2B and OEM channels, we are seeking an agile, high-level operator to oversee our day-to-day cross-functional execution.
If you are a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves, build structure out of ambiguity, and drive both team performance and revenue growth, this role is for you.
Position Summary
The Product & Operations Manager will serve as the operational backbone of our head office, bridging the gap between strategy and execution. This dual-focus role requires managing our internal team, refining operational workflows (SOPs), driving the product development roadmap, and directly leading our B2B/OEM sales strategies. You will be the central point of coordination for our local departments, our overseas Shenzhen China office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team & Performance Management
- End-to-End HR Operations: Lead all hiring initiatives, including posting jobs, vetting candidates, conducting interviews, onboarding, and ongoing performance management.
- Accountability & Documentation: Conduct formal performance reviews, compile and secure employee records, and establish Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) when necessary.
- Ticket & Workflow Management: Oversee the daily and ad-hoc internal ticketing system to ensure seamless cross-departmental communication and timely completion.
2. Operations & Process Improvement
- SOP & Workflow Design: Author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and create reusable operational templates to scale productivity.
- Digital & Physical Infrastructure: Serve as the admin for company software credentials, access points, and contractor accounts. Maintain organization of the company’s Notion workspace and physical filing systems.
- Global Compliance: Partner with our overseas manufacturing office to ensure they are consistently aligned with and executing established company SOPs.
3. Product Development & Procurement
- Roadmap Leadership: Lead new products through the entire lifecycle from procurement and sourcing to final production.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Build and execute launch strategies spanning branding, sustainable packaging design, and commercial release.
- Financial Tiering: Manage end-to-end pricing structures, balancing procurement margins against tiered B2B pricing models (Distributor, Wholesale, and MSRP).
- Forecasting: Research market trends, plan upcoming collections, and create data-backed purchasing forecasts.
4. B2B Sales & Marketing Management
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for OEM accounts, working directly with B2B clients to successfully produce and deliver their custom products.
- Sales Pipeline Leadership: Manage the sales team, establish and track KPIs, and build and execute aggressive growth strategies while following up on incoming leads and generating new business.
- Collateral & Pitching: Develop high-impact pitch decks and lead face-to-face meetings with key commercial accounts.
- Marketing Oversight: Manage marketing campaign calendars, corporate assets, and overall marketing performance KPIs.
5. Communication & Leadership
- Cross-Border Coordination: Manage daily, timely correspondence with our overseas manufacturing office to ensure zero lag in supply chain operations.
- Meeting Rhythms: Facilitate daily syncs with executive leadership, lead weekly multi-departmental office meetings, and host quarterly performance review assemblies.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proactive: You don't need a playbook to succeed; you enjoy establishing order, building frameworks, and creating clarity where it doesn't yet exist.
- Organization & Multi-Tasking: You can smoothly pivot from evaluating a sales pitch deck to auditing an operational budget or updating an HR file without missing a beat.
- Critical Thinker: You anticipate bottlenecks before they happen and approach challenges with creative, data-backed solutions.
