Mosquito.Buzz helps homeowners enjoy their outdoor spaces with professional mosquito control services. We are hiring motivated Door-to-Door Sales Representatives to join our team for a 7-week summer sales campaign in Ottawa and the surrounding area.
Position Overview
As a Door-to-Door Sales Representative, you will canvass residential neighborhoods, speak with homeowners, present Mosquito.Buzz services, generate qualified leads, and help close new business. This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working independently in the field.
Responsibilities
- Canvass residential neighborhoods in Ottawa and surrounding areas
- Speak with homeowners and introduce Mosquito.Buzz services
- Deliver clear and professional sales presentations
- Generate qualified leads
- Close sales opportunities when appropriate
- Complete basic administrative reporting
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Track activity, leads, and results
- Represent Mosquito.Buzz in a positive and professional manner
Requirements
- Transportation to and from the assigned working area
- Valid driver’s license
- Cell phone
- Strong communication skills
- Resilience and ability to handle rejection positively
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude
- Comfortable walking and working outdoors
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
- Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays
What We Offer
- $25/hour plus commission
- $1 commission per qualified lead
- 35–44 hours per week
- Short-term summer contract from July 13 to August 29
- Sales training and support
- Active outdoor work environment

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is confident, friendly, reliable, and motivated by results. You enjoy talking to people, can stay positive after rejection, and are comfortable working outdoors in residential neighborhoods. Previous sales or canvassing experience is an asset, but a strong attitude and willingness to learn are most important.
