Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced full time SUB CONTRACTOR ONLY. Experienced specifically on combi boilers and systems, such as Glow, Radiant, NTI, Omega, as well as all other furnace, air conditioning systems, and water heaters and tankless, and all other ancillary hvac equipment. Minimum of 5 years experience, and verifiable. Our senior tech will interview you to verify experience on the above equipment. Candidate must have own truck and tools, and possess gas fitter license, contractors license, liability insurance. We are a very busy HVAC company and have work 24-7 in the GTA and surrounding areas. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems as listed above, in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Perform service on all combi boiler & all other heating and cooling equipment as listed above.
- Conduct routine inspections of boilers, mechanical components, and appliances to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and mechanical knowledge
- Perform maintenance on same sytems as above where required and commissioning of new systems.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and building codes
- Document service activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members and clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician on systems as listed above.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals, and consult over the phone with manufacturers Tech support staff.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently
- Valid certification or license related to HVAC or refrigeration is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and working in confined spaces
