Upper Bay Automotive Technician – Customer-Focused Preventative Maintenance
We're looking for a professional, dependable Automotive Technician who enjoys working with people just as much as working on vehicles.
This is a customer-facing role where you'll help vehicle owners understand their manufacturer's recommended maintenance and make informed decisions about caring for their vehicle. You'll use our shop software, service history, and manufacturer maintenance schedules to educate customers on preventative maintenance—not sell unnecessary services.

What You'll Do
- Review vehicle service history and manufacturer maintenance schedules.
- Use shop software to identify recommended maintenance based on mileage, age, and previous services.
- Perform vehicle inspections and document findings.
- Explain maintenance recommendations in a clear, honest, and easy-to-understand manner.
- Answer customer questions and help them prioritize maintenance based on their needs.
- Work closely with the lower bay team to ensure recommended services are completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate inspection notes and vehicle records.
- Help deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Automotive experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning shop management software.
- Organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Open availability, including weekends.
