Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Framer / Construction Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various framing and construction tasks on residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, experience with hand and power tools, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. This position offers opportunities to develop carpentry skills and gain valuable construction experience. Based out of Blumenort MB with work primarily in Winnipeg MB.
Responsibilities
- Operating power tools
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as lumber and other construction components
- Construct and install wood framing, floor systems, roof systems and other structural elements according to project specifications
Requirements
- Prior construction experience preferred
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools is desirable
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
- Good teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
