Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Safety Assistant to support our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in safety and helping our growing team. The Junior Safety Assistant will assist in on boarding new hires, tracking employee compliance, helping with implementing safety protocols, conducting inspections, helping with other tasks such as company events, insurance requirements and such. The role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn about safety practices and management software. Responsibilities
- On boarding new employees.
- Tracking compliance for employees on all jobs
- Support the safety team in conducting site inspections to identify potential hazards
- Assist with the implementation and enforcement of safety policies and procedures
- Help document safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions
- Maintain accurate records using construction management software
- Assist in preparing safety reports and documentation for regulatory compliance
- Observe work activities to ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
- Support with company events, insurance requirements and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or familiarity with construction environments is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of construction management software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Willingness to learn about safety regulations and practices
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Class 5 drivers license with ability to get to and from work.
- Good computer skills in excel and word.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
