Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic multitasking server cum hostess to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and non alcoholic beverages, and ensuring that each guest feels welcomed and valued. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to food safety are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy in order delivery.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, utensils, condiments and required stuff to run a smooth operation .
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle cash and process payments using the POS system accurately.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques at all times.
- Place stock items in their designated areas using the "first in, first out" method when delivery comes in .
- Manage time effectively to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is must
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A current post secondary student or recent graduate and living in Alberta
- Not a post-secondary student but have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, you are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and co-workers.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary in the dining area.
- Must be available for work between 11:15 am–10:00 pm

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
