Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our Multi disciplinary Chronic pain clinic and IV infusion center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering and monitoring I.V. Infusions.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions by taking a complete history.
- Administer medications as per established protocols and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately in patient assessments and reports.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with medical practices.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Paramedic is preferred.
- Experience in medication administration and patient care techniques.
- Completion of an Accredited Advanced Care Paramedic program.
- Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
- BLS/ACLS/AED.
- Must be experienced in starting intravenous infusions.
