Role Overview: The Account Manager is responsible for publishing content and finding outlier ideas that fuel client growth. You post dozens of times per day across multiple client accounts. You ensure every post is accurate, on time, tagged correctly, and formatted properly. A single mistake (wrong caption, wrong account, wrong settings, missed posting window) damages trust, so precision matters. This job is detail-heavy, repetitive, and important. If youre not organized, consistent, and task-oriented, you will not enjoy it.
You also scroll social media intentionally: not to be entertained, but to spot unusual patterns, breakout content, and ideas that outperform the feed. The more you scroll without getting distracted, the more high-leverage patterns you collect for the creative team.
This role keeps the content engine running. If you do your job well, clients grow faster. If you dont, everything slows down.
Responsibilities:
- Post content dozens of times per day across multiple platforms and client accounts
- Follow the content schedule exactly and maintain reliable daily posting
- Scroll social media to find outliers, patterns, emerging hooks, and standout formats
- Set up client workflows for CTAs
- Communicate with editors & creative directors to coordinate posting, updates, and needs
- Stay organized inside Dropbox, Notion, and communication channels
Required Skills:
- Task orientation: you enjoy repetitive, mechanical work and can do it reliably
- Attention to detail: zero tolerance for posting errors or sloppy execution
- Care & empathy: you understand your work affects client perception and trust
- Effective communication: simple, clear, fast updates
- Pattern recognition: ability to spot outlier content, trends, and repeatable formats
