Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service environment. Duties
- Responsible for cleaning dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and storage spaces throughout shifts.
- Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies and ensuring all necessary items are readily available for service.
- Follow food handling and safety protocols diligently to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.
- Assist with serving duties when needed, including setting up dining areas and delivering food to guests.
- Help with general kitchen maintenance including waste disposal and equipment cleaning.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Experience with cooking or food service roles demonstrates an understanding of hospitality standards.
